Return to Ravnica!!!

Yes guys it's me YGO-Duels and today I'll be covering about the upcoming set of Magic: The Gathering! As it names implies yes the upcoming set will be Return to Ravnica! For all those old school magic players out there es Ravnica will be back! This time instead of the old block-splits of the 10 Guilds, 4-4-3 it will instead be 5-5-10. Which means Return to Ravnica will feature 5 Guilds, while Gatecrash(After RTR) will have another 5 Guilds and Sinker(The last set in the block of Return to Ravnica) will feature all 10 Guilds while it is quite a small set itself. What makes me excited is that Return to Ravnica's pre-release event will be different from other pre-release event but similar to the Mirrodin Besieged in which attendees who attend to the Pre-release Event must choose a Guild(Which in Mirrodin Besieged case, its a faction). And then you will get the following: 5 Return to Ravnica Packs, 1 Guild Pack on a base on the Guild you choose, 1 Promo Pre-Release Card, 1 Guild Spin-Down Life Counter, 1 Guild Sticker, 1 Guild Invitation from Guild Leader, And a Prerelease challenge card! And Players will be able to use those pre-release cards before the actual Release! Like I said before in RTR there will be 5 cards and these are the 5 cards that will be in Return to Ravnica: Azorious(White/Blue) Rakdos(Black/Red) Selesnya(Green/White) Golgari(Black/Green) Izzet(Blue/Red) And here's all 10 Guild Symbols!
I hope I'll be able to attend the pre-release event as Ravnica is my favourite blog and if I'm able to join the Guilds I'll be joining Izzet as it's my favourite Guild. Azorious seems decent too. I have a 70% chance of going to this prelease. For Gatecrash chances are 30% I'll be able to attend unless it's in January or something or better yet in December! The place I'm going for the pre-release cost $35. I hope you guys will attend the pre-release event or better yet have fun when attending it! The pre-release event will be on 29-September and 30-September! Hope to see you guys there. And if you guys need a place to know where will the Event be held at go to here and click on the events locator section!

MTG?

Yep it's me YGO Duel an I've decided to continue to play back Magic: The Gathering! Of course if you guys want to play MTG here are some things you may or need to know! Firstly, you are a Planeswalker a so-called Sorcerer that is on a battle against another Planeswalker on a Plane. Each player starts with 20 life points. You lose if you have one of these 3 conditions: 1) When you have 0 Life Point 2) When you have 10 Poison Counter 3) When you have no cards in your hand during your Draw Phase Alright let's skip to the Building a Deck Part. This is the video on how to play Magic The Gathering. Credit goes to WizardsMTG and their respective owners. No copyright infringement intended. Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6(END) I recommend you guys to watch the video first but of course there are an FAQS section which will be updated soon for the new mechanics. Q: What is Deathtouch A: Deathtouch means any amount of combat damage done to a creature by a creature with Deathtouch is enough to destroy it. Q: What is Regenerate? A: Regenerate means putting the same creature back onto the battlefield by paying its Regeneration cost in an untapped position Q: Flash A: Flash are creatures that you can cast anytime you would cast an Instant spell. I'll update more soon when I have the time or when I finish on research.

N.O.V.A-Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance!

Yes as it's name suggest its not Yugioh but i've been thinking of giving it a quick review as well as for Nova 2 and Nova 3! Alright I've played both Nova and Nova 2 and I'm addicted to it! I must say its the best FPS game for the iOS. The game was developed by Gameloft which is excellent! However unlike most Gameloft's full game or rather all of it are paid with Nova being at $4.99 and Nova 2 at $6.99 in the AppStore. What makes this game great is its graphics and campaign modes and when playing online it's super awesome! The match you play with real-life people around the globe takes FPS in an iOS into a higher level! Of course you could get Nova 3 as there aren't anymore updates on Nova 2 and Nova, but I would get Nova first then Nova 2 and Nova 3 so I could get the storyline better but that's just different styles. Anyway what also makes this game fascinating is the fact that you could use a sniper rifle I'm not saying there aren't I've just have yet to seen it! Of course with pros comes with cons, Nova depletes a lot of battery but of course it's not a big matter what really matters is the fact that it is during Multiplayer matches this game lags 65% of the time. That's like approx. 2/4 of the time you spent to play on a computer. But overall I love Nova and Nova 2!

T.G. And techs

Well I'm back again and today I'm gonna tell you guys about my opinions and impression of Tech Genus(Simply called T.G. or TG). Alright when I first watch 5D's and saw how Bruno Accel Synchro his TG Blade Blaster I immediately liked the deck. Plus they hawks a great ability that is to be treated as both Machine and their original types. And I'm over the moon when I heard they were to be released on EXVC. Which I spent $80 which I didn't actually regret it. But what struck me off guard was the fact that these cards do not have the treat as Machine types. But they are really better than Anime as I could search for a TG monster with a different name(It couldn't be the same monster) which is great as you could toolbox your way to milling out your deck.
But that's not the main point today I'm Going to talk about certain decks and decklist which I might come out with(March 2012 Format duh?!) but TG decks are pretty slow themselves but when combine with other decks to form Hybrid decks it's really broken. Once such examples were TG Agent Angels which were a Top Tier deck in the last format. TGAA(Short for TG Agent Angels) uses Earth to search out for Venus and pay 500 to get out Shine Balls then tune it with Earth for a Trishula or you could Overlay it for Gachi Gachi Gantetsu which is a purrrrrfect defense. But if there aren't any Earths the play would bring out Venus 1st to get out Shine Balls and stall it with Gantetsu. The play could then bring out Hyperions to attack. Another method is to immediately tune with TG Striker with Warwolf if you don't have Earth or even Venus you could summon striker. No Earth but have Striker and Venus? Great wait for your opponent to get out at least one monster then SS Striker normal Venus pay 1000 to get out Shine Balls tune it up for a Level 9 Trishula(September 2011) or Mist Wurm. There are many more strategies to this deck actually but these are some ideas of the deck. Unfortunately, this deck was crippled due to the limitation of Earth which made this deck much slower. Also since Trishula have been banned, players have to rely on other synchros and also Mist Wurm as their Level 9 option which Mist Wurm have a great effect in annoying your opponent flooding their hand(especially if it is Exceed like Utopia). As an OCG player I have seen lesser and lesser TGAA. In this current format Inzektors are far OP. Hieroglyphs are also another decks to look out for!
Anyway back to the TG topics, players also used certain TG cards to splash into their deck or create variants. Some decks are: TG Rhino Beatdown(This deck made Rush Rhino ram over monster with a boastful 2000 ATK monster. Trust me don't underestimate deck. I have tried playing it with my main deck(Last time now changed to Lavals and Gishki) which the guy(My friend) used Rush Rhino to keep direct attack me. And the only TG Synchros needed is TG Wonder Magician I ask my friend what is it for and he told me it was for popping the backrow and get a plus 1 when TG Wonder Magician is destroyed. Another deck Variant is a Synchro deck which uses Striker and of course Warwolf which tunes out Hyper Librarian and you get the idea.
So TG cards are splashable into any decks and that I don't recommend you running them as a deck. Not because they suck as a whole but they shouldn't be played in the current Meta or even format. Not if you're playing competitive. Alright that's all or today I'll see if I'll update more blogs tomorrow or the day after. This is YGO-Duel signing out~

Review:
NOTE: Play this deck at your own risk I have yet to test it out as I have no time building but roughly knows the strategy of course an OTK is possible if you get the right cards.
Basically this card uses the HERO Strategy to add Ocean to my hand for recycling and the Gishki Monsters to bring out their Ritual Spell. Ditch Ocean or anyother cards in your hand Ritual Summon out Soul Ogre use it to get right of BLS or even other pesky cards like Utopia in a stall deck(I don't have much examples). You could also fuse! Use Gishki Engines to get out Aquamirror then ditch. Use Aquamirror returning Ogre to hand and return Gishki Aquamirror back to your deck! It's recycling in a way! Ocean and Stratos to get out Absolute ZERO! If you guys don't see a synergy here then comment to me in the comments below!
